PLAIN JANE

Ideal if you want something plain or have a cake topper of your own you'd like to pop on. optional piped border around the edges. Simply decorated as standard, but can be jazzed up with cherries/fresh fruit etc (see optional additions)

VINTAGE piping

Vintage inspired frilly piping (more decorative/delicate than the retro), really lovely using just one colour or the natural colouring of the ingredients such as pistachio, brown sugar or berries.

RETRO piping

Retro inspired piping with cocktail cherries or wee bows. your choice of colours. Keep it monochrome or go as colourful as you'd like.

FLOWERS + FOLIAGE

Seasonal flowers & foliage with piped buttercream.

INSIDE OUT

Decorated like a landscape to show the flavours inside.

SQUIGGLY piping

Decorated with modern squiggly piping. Big squiggles or wee confetti squiggles, colourful or more muted, take your pick! A fun one paired with cherries!

Everything always made from scratch, using organic flour from shipton mill, free range eggs, and as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible. Fresh flowers and herbs are home grown when possible.

For brightly coloured cakes, artificial colourings are used, however natural colours are available and give a really lovely, more earthy, colour palette to cakes - raspberry for speckled pink, pistachio or matcha for green, turmeric or saffron for yellow, brown sugar and molasses for caramel-y tones, etc. Just let me know your preference!

*A note on allergies & other dietary requirements...

All of the cakes mentioned are made with dairy, eggs, and gluten as standard, however most can be adapted to suit a dairy free, vegan or low gluten diet. All cakes are suitable for a vegetarian diet.

Everything is made in my kitchen where I handle gluten, eggs, dairy, sesame, nuts, soya & mustard on a regular basis, so may not be suitable for those with severe allergies. Whilst I do my best to avoid contamination, I cannot guarantee zero crossover of allergens.

I have a level 2 food hygiene qualification, and I'm certified to operate by Fife council (last food hygiene inspection Oct 2022).

HOW TO ORDER...

I take celebration cake orders up to three months ahead of the date required. My menu changes with the seasons, so feel free to secure an order space and just let me know you'd like to pick a seasonal flavour closer to the time. A month is usually sufficient notice for an order, or less for weekday orders, however I'm a one person operation so cannot guarantee a date will be available even with such notice. Also, I occasionally have availability with just a week or so's notice - feel free to get in touch if you want to enquire about a last minute order!

When getting in contact, please give as much information as possible as to what you're after, including the date required.

To secure a date, I require a £20 deposit on orders under £100, and a £30 deposit on orders over £100. The deposit goes towards the price of the cake, with the remaining balance to be paid by cash upon collection, or by bank transfer prior to collection.

The deposit is non-refundable if the order is cancelled by the customer - this is due to the loss of business from turning other orders away for the date booked.

If the order has to be cancelled by myself due to, for example, illness, then the deposit will be fully refunded.

Collection only from central Dunfermline.

Timing of collection will be discussed during the order process.
